Liv Moore, a promising medical student, takes a break from her workaholic life to attend a party. This one choice leads to her becoming a zombie and her life goes trough some drastic changes. Liv takes a job at the Coroner's Office to get access to all the brain she need, and in the process she ends up helping Clive Babineaux, a police officer, solving crime. She tells him that she is a psychic, but the truth is that she gets some of the memories and habits from the people she eats.

I like this show. The main character is witty and cool. Much better than your average CSI type of show.

Coroner's Office, funeral home and dead people. Only in Six Feet Under the dead stay dead, they do not walk around. Six Feet Under also has witty humor and interesting drama.

Dexter Morgan, by day a blood spatter pattern expert for the Miami Metro police department, but by night he becomes a brutal serial killer. Dexter, Like most serial killers, only kills people who fit a very specific profile. He follows a "moral code" taught to him by his late father Harry, he only kills violent criminals that slips between lady justice`s fingers. Dexter is grappling with fitting into society while, at the same time, he struggles with his inability to feel emotion.

Each season of Dexter is made up of a story that start at episode one and ends at the season finale. I have not watched the last season jet, but I am going to because this is an absolute fantastic series. It is strange how the writers manage to have feelings for a serial killer.

Both Dexter and Six feet under have Michael C. Hall in them. They both deal in death and they both are character driven and full of drama and some witty moments.

OZ follows the life of the prisoners in Emerald City, an experimental unit in the Oswald maximum security prison, or OZ.

OZ is a really good drama series where you get to know some of the back story of the prisoners and their life in prison. OZ is great at really letting you get to know the prisoners and their struggles. It`s a great series that sucks you in so hard that the six seasons are finished long before you want them to finish.

Big Love follows Bill Henrickson and his Mormon family with three wifes and how they struggle with jealousy, money, and the communities perception of them. It`s not that easy to have a polygamist lifestyle.

Big Love is a series with many layers. At times it`s hilarious while at other it is thought provoking. It`s a must watch show, which is not a big surprise given it`s a show from HBO.

Nancy Botwin is a recently widowed suburban housewife. When her financed eventually gets in trouble she ends up being their neighbourhood pot dealer to be able to keep living as she did before her husband`s early demise. It turns out that the people in her neighbourhood is more addicted to pot than she thought and her new business might be able to keep her more than wealthy enough to keep going as she did before. Nancy is faced with juggling her family life, her new enterprise and keeping it secret from the wrong people, like her neighbour and PTA president, Celia Hodes.

Weeds is a funny comedy that is also full of more serious drama. It is entertaining mix of family life drama and drug related suspense all mixed with a good dose of humour.

Dr. Sean McNamara and Dr. Christian Troy are two plastic surgeons in the midst of a midlife crisis. One is a family man and the other is a player. The show follows them with their struggle to keep their business going while they try to overcome personal relationship problems and clients with criminal records.

Nip/Tuck is a great show, at least the first seasons are great. It`s a character driven show full of drama and tension. Great stuff.

Eighteen year old Georgia "George" Lass is a college drop-out and without work. After getting work at a temp agency she gets royally screwed by a space station toilet falling from the sky and straight onto her head. After a brief period as a ghost she is returned to earth to work as a grim reaper. She works with a local team of grim reapers and have to help dead people to free their souls from their body right before they die. They look just like everyone else but as grim reapers they appear physically different to the living than they did when they were alive. Which means they also have to keep a day job to pay the bills.

Dead Like Me is a brilliant TV show with lots of quirky dark humor and witty dialogs. To bad it did not last longer.

Angel Crawford lives with her alcoholic redneck father in the swamps of southern Louisiana. She's a high school dropout without any ambitions, has a mile long police record and she is addicted to drugs and alcohol. All this changes when she is turned into a zombie. She is now only addicted to brains and she gets a job at the local morgue that she has to do her best to keep if she wants to stay "alive".

I loved this series. Angel Crawford is a cool heroin and there is an interesting story. Its also cool how the author manages to write a story about people eating brains without grozing me out.

Both stories centres around death. Six Feet Under is about a funeral home while the zombie trash are working in a morgue.
