Eureka is an splendid form of entertainment. And if you love it as much as I do, then you will love some of the following TV-shows, Books and Animes.
Eureka is a small hidden town populated by Americas brightest scientists. They work cutting edge inventions and discoveries. Sadly for them, but funny for us, in their enthusiasm they tend to be forgetful about the safety surrounding their projects, which usually leads unnatural and hilarious chaos!Sheriff Jack Carter and his daughter accidentally stumbles upon Eureka, and Jack ends up being hired as the new sheriff in town. He got more than he bargained for when he has to deal with all the quirky geniuses living in Eureka and their crazy experiments.
Agent Pete Lattimer and Agent Myka Bering find themselves transferred to Warehouse 13, a massive, top-secret storage facility in South Dakota. This mysterious warehouse houses every supernatural artifact ever collected by the government. Their new job has them chasing down reports of supernatural activity in search of new artifacts to be safeguarded in the Warehouse
Warehouse 13 is an entertaining adventure full of fictional and historical objects and gadgets with and without (mostly with) supernatural powers. I really like this TV show.
FBI agent Olivia Dunham teams up with teams up with a formerly institutionalized scientist Dr. Walter Bishop and his son Peter Bishop to investigate weird crimes. Crimes that are part of a larger pattern. Dr. Walter Bishop`s knowledge of fringe science that he worked on before he got institutionalized comes in handy when the team face a rapidly spreading series of unexplained phenomena.
Fringe is a really good science fiction crime show. They get in to so many cool and crazy stuff while working on their cases, and they try to explain it in a scientific way, as much as it is possible.
Ned is and not so ordinary pie-maker. He possesses the strange ability to bring the dead to life merely by touching them. Just like it was with King Midas`s Golden Touch, Ned`s touch also has a backside. He has to kill them by touching them again before one minute is up else another innocent person will die. Ned and Emerson, a local PI, uses Ned`s touch to solve murder cases and cash in on the rewards. When one case happens to be the murder of Ned`s childhood crush Chuck he decides to break the rules and let her live.
Pushing Daisies is an unusual, funny, quirky and clever show. Not only is the story and the humour out there, the visuals are also unusual and strange. This show is not for everybody, but everybody should check it out to see if it is for them. It is absolutely brilliant.
Both Pushing Daisies and Eureka has this similar kind of quirky humor going for them.
Eighteen year old Georgia “George” Lass is a college drop-out and without work. After getting work at a temp agency she gets royally screwed by a space station toilet falling from the sky and straight onto her head. After a brief period as a ghost she is returned to earth to work as a grim reaper. She works with a local team of grim reapers and have to help dead people to free their souls from their body right before they die. They look just like everyone else but as grim reapers they appear physically different to the living than they did when they were alive. Which means they also have to keep a day job to pay the bills.
Dead Like Me is a brilliant TV show with lots of quirky dark humor and witty dialogs. To bad it did not last longer.
Eureka dos not have the same death related theme, but they are both funny and good shows.
Chuck is a mild-mannered nerd and a Stanford dropout that works with tech support at a Los Angeles Buy More. His life changes when his former college roommate, a rogue CIA agent, mails him a virus that implants the entire U.S. intelligence network into his brain. Sarah Walker of the CIA and John Casey of the National Security Administration gets the job to not only to keep the resource (Chuck) out of enemy hands but also to use his unique gift to help them identify and eliminate threats to national security.
Chuck is a funny and addictive TV shows. Absolutely worth watching if you like geeky TV shows.
Chuck is also a geeks show, just like Eureka.
Captain Malcolm ‘Mal’ Reynolds, a former galactic war veteran, is the captain of the transport ship Serenity. He is kind of like Han Solo from Star Wars, a small time smuggler hiding behind his legal transport services. His crew consists of Zoe, his old war buddy and Wash, the pilot and Jayne Cobb, the muscle and Kaylee Frye, the mechanic and Simon Tam, the medic and River, Simon`s sister and Inara Serra, a courtesan and Shepherd Book, a preacher.Together they do any jobs, legal or illegal. They travels across the outskirts of outer space sparking up trouble wherever they go.
This is a superb show. I can’t fathom why it got cancelled after only one season. I want a new show like this.
Caroline has download her personality into cyber storage at some shady organization who rents out her body to the highest bidder. A new personality with the required skill set are uploaded to her body to complete whatever the mission requires. These missions can involve everything from sexual fantasy to high risk missions that requires assassin or spy type of personality and skills.
Dollhouse is an excellent show with plenty of action and drama. I loved it. And it all get even better with the hot actor Eliza Dushku in the main role.
Kiera Cameron, a detective from the year 2077, finds herself trapped in present day Vancouver and searching for ruthless criminals from the future called Liber8. Kiera poses as a government agent and joins forces with police detective Carlos Fonnegra and teen genius Alec Sadler to capture the terrorists before they can alter the future. The future of 2077 is a dystopian one in which world governments have collapsed and corporations now dominate the planet.
I like it. I have not watched the last season of Continuum jet, but it is on my soon to watch list.
The year is 2046 and over 30 years have passed since aliens arrived. They drastically altered earth by terraforming it and colonizing it. In the frontier town of Defiance the different alien species and humans are living side by side. This off course is not without tension between the different spices, which makes for a lot of small, and not so small, problems to overcome.
This is a great post-apocalyptic show. I really hope it will get many more seasons.
A group of English teenagers given community service is hit by a freak thunderstorm and discovers that they have gotten superpowers. When they discover that they are not the only ones who have been given powers they realize that they have a lot more to worry about than just their community service.
This is a cool show, but I have only watched up to season three. I fell off when I had to wait for a new season. I might take it up again if I get time.

She manages this with the help of her mischievous, but loya friendl, Kenzi, the handsome shapeshifter Dyson, and the beautiful human scientist Lauren. While Bo tries to unravel the riddle of her mysterious past she and her friends also tackle other problems that arise.
This is a really cool series, if you are in to this kind of stuff. Absolute worth watching.
Brought together to form one extraordinary team of Alphas people whose unique brain anomalies imbue them with superhuman mental and physical abilities five seemingly ordinary citizens must take the law into their own hands while working within the government to investigate a new brand of baffling crime. – Amazon
This is an excellent series, but I am not sure if I should recommend it. There is one thing that I hate with this series, and that one thing are the reason to why I will never buy this show. They cancelled it with a cliff hanger. That should be a criminal offence, an offence punished by no TV for the rest of their life.
Harry Dresden, a Chicago bound professional wizard, and the only one with an ad in the yellow pages. Business is sadly dreadful, so he jumps on it when the local police bring him in as a consultant on a strange double murder.
The Dresden Files is a must read for anyone with the slightest interest in this gangrene.
Hmm.. I can’t remember why I thought they belong together. I had some reason in mind when I linked them together, but i cant for the life of me remember why. I`l leave it in place, and see of anyone else agrees or disagrees with me on this one.
